Attorney Jim Koppelman

Attorney Jim Koppelman grew up in Waukegan, IL in a blue-collar family. He has the knowledge and the experience to help make sure that your rights are protected at all times. Mr. Koppelman has received his degrees from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI and Creighton University in Omaha, NE. He has successfully tried and settled cases in a variety of areas, including criminal law, personal injury, family law, bankruptcy, and commercial torts and contracts.

Mr. Koppelman offers each of his clients expert, personal, and compassionate advice and counsel. He's popular among his clients for his common sense approach, competitiveness, and a great sense of humor! He is an old-school believer and doesn't like to post his pictures on the website as lawyers didn't indulge in it when he came out of law school back in 1983.

You'll be glad to know that Mr. Koppelman treats his clients as his neighbors. His in-depth knowledge across a wide range of practice areas allows him to serve his clients with excellent results. Mr. Koppelman is an active member of the Merrill community. He has actively coached and raised funds for children athletes and participated in free swims at the public pool.
